  • Philosophy

      The Master of Science in Radiological Technology programme (International Programme) is to encourage those Radiological technologists who aim to advance the knowledge and skills of radiological technologists in their specialized technologies in the field of radiological technology for the applications or research.

  • Objectives

    The goals of M.Sc. in Radiological Technology are;

    1. To produce graduates who have the capability to do researches and utilize advanced technologies in their specialties

    2. To perform the basic research and applied research in radiological technology areas.


  • Admission Requirements

    1. Students must hold a bachelor's degree in Radiological Technology or bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent.

    2. Receive a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.

    3. Pass the English Proficiency Examination offered by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University, or other qualified institutions, or have a TOEFL score more than 173/500.

    4. Exceptions to the above items may be made by the Programme Committee and the Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies.

    5. Image analysis in radiology2. Receive a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.

    6. Development of PACS system.

    7. Radiation effect on Immune system.

    8. Research on Application of Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and DICOM.

     

  • Research projects

    1. Radiation dose from x-ray computed tomography.

    2. Image quality assessment and calibration of computed radiography.

    3. Monte Carlo Simulation : Application in Radiology.

    4. Application of opened source programme in radiology.

  • Registration

      1. Students must register as full time students.

      2. The registration must not be less than 9 credits, but not exceed 15 credits per regular semester, or up to the recommendation of the advisor.

       

  • Graduation Requirements: Students must

      1. take not less than 24 credits of course work and 12 credits of thesis, total credits for the programme not less than 36 credits, with GPA is not less than 3.00.

      2. Pass the English Proficiency Examination offered by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University, or other qualified institutions, or have a TOEFL score more than 173/500.

      3. complete the thesis research and pass oral thesis examination required for graduation according to regulations of Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
